The Children’s Guild School of Baltimore
The Children’s Guild School of Baltimore is a non-public, co-educational special education day school approved by the Maryland State Department of Education, for boys and girls 5-21 years old, who have a range of disabilities including autism, emotional and learning disabilities.
We differ from other special education schools in the way we think about our students utilizing our Transformation Education philosophy, which fosters flexibility in the way the school operates, is managed, and the way the faculty think and act. Our holistic approach to learning ensures each student is treated as an individual rather than forced to adapt to the organization’s program and valued for their unique strengths and feels cared for, with a whole team supporting them and celebrating their progress. Our creative environments are designed to promote learning and a sense of well-being.

ACADEMICS
We provide a student-centered approach to learning, where every child is valued and respected. We accomplish this by focusing the needs of the whole child.
OUR APPROACH
We believe that parents are the child’s first and most important teacher and that children whose parents are involved in their educational program are the most successful academically. Therefore, we encourage and support each family’s attempt to be involved in the academic life of their child.
